Yes — files never leave your browser. All processing is local. - Is there a file size limit?
No server limit. Very large files may be limited by your device's RAM. - Why does compression convert text to image?
Browser-based compression re-renders pages as images. For text-heavy PDFs, the savings may be minimal.
